Can I bid on behalf of someone else?

The use of your Interencheres account is strictly personal. In accordance with our Terms and Conditions of Use, it is prohibited to share, lend, or transfer access to your account to a third party.

Therefore, any bid placed from your account is deemed to have been made by the account holder, whether an individual or a professional.

The auction receipt, which constitutes the title of ownership for the lots acquired, is issued in the name (or company name, depending on the type of account) of the Interencheres account holder who won the bids.

It is therefore not possible to modify the auction receipt to include the identity, contact details, or company of a third party.

If you wish to bid on behalf of another person or company, we invite you to contact the Auction House before the sale. They will inform you of the applicable procedure as well as any supporting documents required.

Finally, if a person other than the successful bidder is to collect the lots, you should contact the Auction House before visiting to find out the collection arrangements by proxy and the documents that will need to be presented.

For any further information, our Customer Service is available 7 days a week at contact@interencheres.com
