The "invalid credit card" error message when registering for a sale may appear for several reasons:
- Your card details are incorrect
- The card has expired
- The card will be expired at the time of the sale
For security reasons, a bank card is considered expired if its expiry date is within 15 days of a Live sale or the end of a Chrono sale.
Example: I want to register in June for a sale that will take place on 01/09. I can enter a bank card with an expiry date no earlier than 16/09. A card expiring in June, July, August or early September will not be accepted.
