What are the sales costs?

The hammer price is the amount of your last bid and does not include any additional sales costs that will be added to your final sale order.

  • For judicial sales, selling costs are set by law and amount to 14.28%, inclusive of tax.
  • For voluntary sales, auction houses set their own fees. These fees, which are always announced in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale published by the auction Houses, generally range from 25% to 30%.

⚠️ In the case of a Live or Chrono auction on Interencheres, the auction House may charge you internet fees:

- For furniture, works of art, or professional equipment, the fee is 1.5% excluding VAT (1.8% including VAT).

- For vehicles, the fee is €60 excluding VAT (€72 including VAT).

*Exception : For the sales of the Crédit Municipal de Paris the fee is 1% HT

When bidding, we encourage you to factor these fees into your final estimate. Please carefully review the Terms and Conditions of Sale for each auction to ensure you are aware of any other applicable fees, particularly for the safekeeping of lots.
