You have the option to add a private note to a lot that you have favourited (whether it is offered in a Live sale, Catalogue, or Chrono) or on which you have placed an automatic bid (for Live or Chrono sales).
📝 This private note will be visible only from your account, on the Favourites page or when the lot goes live in a Live sale.
🔏 It is not visible to other users or to the Auction House.
To add a note from the "Favourites" page of your account, simply click on "Add a comment" at the bottom of the lot’s details on which you wish to add a note:
- You will then be able to enter your note and save it:
- Once saved, you can also edit or delete it.
What happens to your note after the sale?
- If your note was added to a lot on which you bid, it will be available for 15 days after the sale on your results page (limited to the last 200 lots).
- If your note was added to a favourite lot, it will be saved and visible as long as you do not remove this lot from your favourites list.
